EMTEP has delivered many programmes and initiatives addressing various grassroots community concerns and issues. These include: detached youth work, Crime and Offending, Health and Wellbeing, Substance Abuse, Education & Learning, enhancing inter-community and intergenerational relations, and Women only programmes. The charity has established volunteer development, mentoring and befriending programmes, and has received local and regional accolade for its work, winning national awards and appearing on the BBC.
